santa baby, hurry down my chimney tonight
it doesn't feel so christmassy this christmas season. quite sad really, with the lack of christmas songs and such warm weather. the radio's only been playing ashley tisdale's last christmas. if not, they play other awful not-so-christmassy christmas songs all the same.
christmas day was good though! it started off with midnight mass, with a pageant put up by the youth office before that, which was lousy, heh. i couldn't make out what anyone was saying, except for katrina, haha! for the 1st time ever, it was awfully warm inside st mary's. back to home for opening of presents after mass. heee, i got a red crumpler from enemy! it's quite small, but hey, i can finally check off "red crumpler" from my wishlist :D
christmas lunch the next afternoon, where everyone from mum's side of the family in s'pore came over. food was different from past years, and good. LOVED the black russian kahlua pie, heh!

my overdue christmas wishlist
just cos i love making lists. it can double up as my early birthday wishlist anyway.
1. a new phone! one that isn't panasonic, and preferably a walkman phone :D
2. red crumpler
3. 60-gig ipod (any ipod that isn't a 1 or 2-gig nano is good, i'm just being materialistic)
4. ankle socks
5. nikes
6. clothes. or vouchers for clothes
7. gossip girl series, esp. the prequel
8. house seasons 1, 2, 3
9. grey's anatomy seasons 1, 2, 3
10. friends seasons 1-10
11. gilmore girls seasons 1-5
12. hmv vouchers
13. borders/kino vouchers
14. belts
15. a watch
16. a pencilcase
17. a wallet
ok, yeah, that's all i can think of for now.
school's starting soon, oh man! i haven't even opened my books! and everyone's getting tuition already. and i'm not even half-done with homework. and i'm leaving on the 28th for chiangmai and only coming back on the 1st, which is cool, but then i won't even be able to chiong. anyway, back to the school issue, being a sec 3 will suck! i think i'll be overwhelmed by the workload and all during the 1st term, and there's lots of chiong-ing for the sec 1 orientation. URGH!
school sucks school sucks school sucks.
oh, how come now we hafta wait 2 weeks for the next GG episode?! i need my weekly dan humphrey jokes!

liverpool lost 1-0 to man u. BLEAH! torres & gerrard had quite a few chances, but they were so unlucky! anyway, arsenal beat chelsea 1-0, courtesy of gallas, yay! i wasn't quite expecting a win, cos of fabregas's absence, but they proved me wrong (:
so anyway, it was off to taiping on friday morning for part 2 of the sister's wedding, at unearthly hours. the drive sucked as usual, with gross toilets and all along the way. but we arrived at 5 plus, thank god! and then we checked out the house we rented, before going off for dinner at gula, where i saw the newest edition to the family -- the 1st in a new generation, my grandnephew. man, i feel so old! they brought us to some place around there after that, to look at fireflies. it was pretty cool, except that it was nighttime, and the place was like a track in some forested place, so it was dark, and there was loads of cow dung on the path. i think it was my 1st time stepping on cow dung, and there were lots of it too. it was quite pretty when there were lots of it on a tree, kind of like a lighted tree you see during christmas, hee!
it was rise and shine early the next morning, for char kway teow. then it was off to selinsing, to meet up with the rest of the family. then we went to see some indian temple. but it wasn't the one with the archaelogical site, which would've been so cool! apparently everyone who goes to that one dies after coming back cos the land is cursed, and the archaelogists hafta wear some red helmet thingos that protect them. SO COOL! then we went for lunch, and kinda drove through taiping, to show the brother-in-law.
it was time for the wedding dinner at night. we had 5 tables at some taiping restaurant, where 2 couples were also having their wedding dinners together. it was so irritating, cos their guests were going up to sing hokkien songs, with their terrible voices. it was damn funny when the worst singer's microphone got unplugged! the dinner ended quite early, and then everyone followed us back to the house we rented, which was quite funny.
we woke up quite early the next morning, all prepared to go to st louis for mass, and then when we went there we realised that there wasn't mass. but there was a really cute dog there that made up for the wasted trip :D so then we left for s'pore, and reached in a record time of just 8 hours. we ended up in st theresa's for mass eventually even though there was still time to go to st mary's -.-
the toilets are why i dread going to m'sia. and not just the ones along the highway, but in every single place. urgh, why can't home toilets have shower doors?! anyway, it's really scary just how huge the mum's side of the family is. not just the total no. of people, but also the no. of generations. 5 generations, and i'm already in the 3rd. that's just insane lah! plus everyone in the 4th generation is getting married, and both the 3rd & the 4th generations are having kids. sheesh!
lemar's version of "i believe in a thing called love" has been stuck in my head since the start of the m'sia trip, urgh!

azaria & hendekea got eliminated from TAR! that's damn sad lah! the episode was so dramatic, with all the quarreling, and all the different flights. and this season's contestants get to go to all the cool european countries! anyway, i hope tk & rachel win the race now.
both my teams lost over the weekend! liverpool lost 3-1 to reading, while arsenal lost 2-1 to middlesbrough. oh well, it was probably time for arsenal to lose, but to middlesbrough?! they really suck without fabregas. and i'm missing liverpool's game against man u & arsenal's game against chelsea this weekend, cos of the m'sia trip! or is it liverpool against chelsea & arsenal against man u? anyway, i always miss the important matches! like how i was in india when liverpool was up against arsenal. okay, i could've actually watched the 2nd half of that game, if "gossip girl" wasn't showing on some indian channel. but still.
8 and a half days til' i get my dose of dan humphrey jokes, and the drop-dead gorgeous chace crawford. am waiting rather impatiently, if you didn't already know. am also trying to get my homework done asap, since i won't be around on the last few days of the hols, to chiong. URGH, i hate book reports. and movie reports. and book and movie comparison reports. or any other reports, for that matter.

I LOVE "HI SOCIETY"! which is today's episode of "gossip girl", you dimwits. yesterday, technically, according to US time. shit, i'm becoming such a sucker for happy endings. but of course i got all jealous when blair & nate got back together! urgh, chace crawford should be sued for being so hot! and i hope dan's dad and serena's mum get together!!!
oh, and i love the music people of "gossip girl"! cos they play the right music at the right times. and whatever songs they play always get stuck in my head for a few days after, which is irritating, but then it always gets me back to whichever part of "gossip girl" it was playing on, and gets me all nostalgic again. HAHAHA, i'm a screwed up "gossip girl" adorer. i want the dvds and soundtrack when it comes out!
now i'm just waiting impatiently for next week's episode to come out, which i might not even be able to watch til' a few days later, cos i'm leaving for m'sia. BLEAH!

i finally went to ikea yesterday and got more boxes for my books. and i finally fulfilled my craving for ikea's hot dog and meatballs. yay!
and shana & jennifer finally got kicked out of TAR! they should've just got kicked out last week, and then lorena & jason would've been in the race still.
hot nerd's back from australia/new zealand. i want my pressies now!
